Stratton Place was designed to replace a defunct recreation facility in suburban Cirencester, reimagining the site as a vibrant, higher-density residential community. Surrounded by mature trees and neighboring gardens, the project embraced an urban mindset to introduce diverse housing typologies that cater to families, the elderly, and first-time buyers.

By utilizing the site’s natural slope, we implemented a cut-and-cover car park, creating an open-air pedestrian space at the heart of the development — a shared area designed to foster social interaction. Each home features a private garden while contributing to and benefiting from the expansive communal gardens and allotments, encouraging a strong sense of community within the picturesque woodland setting.
