Anish Kapoor and I proposed a giant ten storey archi-sculpture clad in curved mirrored steel. The optical effect of the curvature of the mirror was to magically gather and reflect the entire world under the Dome on its surface.
A complete contrast is revealed as the visitor enters along the bridge and they find themselves suspended at the centre of an 18m sphere. Distance to the surface of the sphere was made indecipherable by a non-reflected finish and as the visitor looked up a second sphere opened up extending the experience of the sublime still further.
